Jim Allen has been in ministry and community organizing for 30 years. He was licensed a minister by the late Bishop Dr. A.C. Richards and was taught community organizing by the late Rev. Rosetta Henry.

Jim Allen has been awarded by the Chicago Housing Authority, Illinois 8th Legislative District, Shriners Hospital for Children-Chicago and the Chicago 300 Black Women to name a few.

Allen has been featured on local and national radio and television as well as several podcasts.

He is the founder One Business Chicago INC., which has helped many Black owned entrepreneurs, influencers, serial entrepreneurs and business owners in Chicago.

Jim Allen is a well sought-after consultant and public speaker on Hoodoo, spirituality, religion, business and youth/young adult violence prevention.

Minister Jim Allen is a member of the Rainbow Push Coalition, South Side NAACP, and The Most Worshipful National Grand Lodge, Free & Accepted Ancient Yorkrite Masons, Prince Hall Origin, National Compact, USA and International.
